In Y5/6, we have been studying and writing formal persuasive letters.  Today, we imagined KS2 SATs were going to be abolished.  As a class, we discuss whether we thought that children should have to do SATs or not.  At the end of our discussion, we had a vote and the class decided that KS2 children should do SATs.  We then worked in groups to collaboratively write a persuasive letter to the Prime Minister to ask him to consider keeping the SATs.  From then, we worked as a class to collect the best parts of each group's writing.  We used this to create a fabulous persuasive letter.  Well done Y5/6CW!
