This week in Year 1 and 2, we have been thinking about Remembrance Day and why we wear a poppy. This morning, Year 2 have written a super acrostic poem all about Remembrance.
Remember the people that died in war.
Entered the battlefield.
Many soldiers fought for their country.
Everybody was proud.
Mighty explosions on the battlefield.
Bullets shooting fiercely through the sky.
Everyone risked their lives for us and their country.
Remember them forever!
